Training & Educational Background.

Julia Nelao obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and prior to that a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Systems Administration and Networks, NUST in 2010 and since then she has earned various IT certifications including Linux Administration, Business Analysis, and Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner. Despite being Scrum Agile Master Certified and a Certified Expert in SQL Server, Julia Nelao will be pursuing an MBA in Data Management at the University of Applied Science & Technology, Germany starting in January 2022 due to her firm belief in self-development and life-long learning.. Julia Nelao has developed a strong passion for Affiliate Marketing and spends most of her time teaching and promoting modern platforms that solves for online opportunities.

Work Experience.

As a student Julia Nelao began her career in IT at the Namibian division of Treart Trading, an Italian based software development company, where she interned as a Web Designer and Systems Administrator. At Treart Trading she gained hands on experience setting up Linux servers and configuring of Linux services which allowed her to hone her software and hardware skills..

Julia Nelao then spent the next few years of her life in Johannesburg, one of Africa’s most technologically advanced cities, where she was employed at Bureau Veritas as an Information Management Systems Specialist. During that time she toured neighboring smaller towns the most memorable of which were Ogies, Middleburg and Rustenburg where she was actively involved in setting up and configuring laboratory management software..

The purpose of this initiative is not to churn out more certificate-wielding-unemployed youth; the goal here is to impart practical skills which will allow the participants to market the skills they have learned with confidence. To this end, all enrolled participants will be expected to take initiative and show creativity. Upon completion the participants will be able to create fully functional websites which they can use to advertise their web designing skills to potential clients. Essentially, the objective is to promote self-employment and not job seeking, therefore no certificates will be awarded.
